Anytime Lege Kale lends his legendary production skills to a track, it's a guaranteed neck snapper; and Khary's ingenious wordplay and imaginative story telling skills have never failed to keep us entertained. So when Khary began teasing us mid January with images of the two in the studio working on their upcoming collaborative EP, "Tidal Graves", my mind was all over the place.

The duo recently released their first single, "Stronger", and in case you missed it....it's pretty fucking fire!

Khary's delivery skills are stronger than ever (no pun intended), as he creatively tells the story of being in a detrimental relationship while on the rise to becoming the man & artist that he is today. The crafty chorus, along with lines like "If you gone play games / then I'm gone play games / but I would pass the controlla", definitely left us craving more than just one verse.

As always, Lege Kale came through on the production! You can't help but move your body to the wavy thumper that takes you on an anime trip as Lege Kale smoothly transitions the tempo up and down as Khary's bars float atop the polyphonic beat.

 

Khary may be stronger on his own, but this track proves that Khary & Lege Kale are a duo made in heaven and has us impatiently awaiting the release of the highly anticipated 7 track EP, "Tidal Graves".
