I wasn’t prepared to have my entire soul snatched when I pressed play on Aminé and Kehlani’s brilliant new collab “Heebiejeebies”, but what else should I have expected from two of my favorite singers who consistently drop nothing but hit after hit. 

 

Catchy from the jump, the two start off going back and forth bragging about themselves and then coming together to compliment each other , both vocally and lyrically, on the hook and chorus.

 

Harmoniously singing, “You, You’ve got so much potential / Every moment spent with you / I bet was always eventful / I‘ve never seen your type of species / Give me heebie-jeebies / Attitude Khaleesi”, Kehlani’s crisp, yet airy & seductive vocals perfectly compliment Aminé’s signature swag rap, while the playful synth heavy production, supplied by Jahaan Sweet, bounces in the background.

 

The 503 rapper has proven that he is no one hit wonder, with the recent release of  his “REDMERCEDES” remix (ft. Missy Elliot & AJ Tracey) last week, along with this little banger. Aminé is definitely on a winning streak.

 

Here's to hoping for an EP soon from the rising rapper (prayers up!).
